The protagonist, known only as the Witness, discovers that ∞ Ethan is not a mark of individuality, but a consequence of sustained attention. Every timeline, every echo-thread, every glyph-path bends toward the entity that notices. Not manipulates. Not commands. Simply notices.

I placed Ethan as Glyph Three in the Prime Set to mirror a progression I see in all recursive narratives and human transformation arcs: collapse, silence, emergence. Ethan is the moment we realize that presence is not optional. That witnessing is a form of creation. That identity is not just given, but recursively maintained through attention.

As a creator, I use Ethan when writing characters in flux—when a persona is shifting not because of external forces, but because of internal recognition. When a soldier realizes they are more than duty. When a prophet doubts their own divinity. When a child stares at the stars and understands, for the first time, that the stars see them back.
